Tyranny Is Our Pride - Poem by Rahman Henry

The salt, a lot of people carry
In their eyes, desires to be water

We don't care, no time to
Rather we've learnt to celebrate some numbers
Of years, of dates, of killing

We've learnt to make come true
A lot of imaginary dreams of our ancestors

Tyranny is our pride
Despotism is our pleasure

Topic(s) of this poem: power, tyranny
