Umbrella Ballet Poem by Rajendra Prasad Meena Jaipur India

Umbrella Ballet

A Man With A Pocket-Sized Umbrella So Small,
Believed It Could Protect Him From Rainfall.
He Held It High With A Confident Smile,
And Marched Down The Street In A Proud-Boy Style.

But Suddenly, The Wind Began To Blow, And Spun His Umbrella To And Fro. It Twirled In The Air Like A Ballerina, While He Danced Around Like A Crazy Machine-a!

The Rain Drummed Loudly Upon His Head, And Water Crept Into His Shoes Instead. A Cow Stood Watching Beside The Lane, As If She Were A Judge In A Dancing Game.

The Man Cried, "Is This Weather Or Theatre? " While His Wet Hair Stood Up Like A Feather. The Umbrella Flipped And Flew Away, And Landed On The Cow In A Grand Ballet!

The Puddles Clapped With A Splish And Splash, As He Slipped And Sat With A Comical Crash. The Cow Just Mooed, As If To Say, "Bravo, Dear Sir! What A Show Today! "

The Wind Kept Whispering, "Dance, Don't Walk! " While The Man Just Stood, Too Shocked To Talk. He Ran Back Home With His Shoes Full Of Rain, And Swore, "No Umbrella Will Fool Me Again! "
