The Infinite Gallery Of The Mind Poem by Rajendra Prasad Meena Jaipur India

The Infinite Gallery Of The Mind

Within the silence of the mind, A million doors await to shine; Where numbers sleep in rows of stone, And words create a world unknown.

A number is a nameless star, A distant light, a world afar; But give it wings, a face, a name, And memory lights its inner flame.

One hundred acres, green and wide, Two hundred dreams that gently glide; Three hundred trees against the sky, Four hundred gates where thoughts can fly.

Five hundred bees around their hive, Six hundred cakes that come alive; Seven hundred heavens, vast and blue, Eight hundred gates to journeys new.

Nine hundred vines that climb the wall, A thousand stars that never fall; And every image, bright and clear, Makes distant knowledge reappear.

Why let a million figures fade, Like footprints washed away by rain? Turn every digit into art, And carve its picture in your heart.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem explores the extraordinary power of words, numbers, and mental imagery in enhancing human memory. It presents the idea that abstract numbers and information become easier to remember when transformed into vivid mental pictures. Through imaginative associations, such as trees, bees, gates, and stars, the poem illustrates how the human mind can turn ordinary data into a living gallery of images. It inspires readers to develop their imagination, strengthen their memory, and make learning a creative and meaningful experience. The central message is that when we learn to see information in our minds, knowledge becomes more memorable, meaningful, and lasting.
