Unblown Blossoms Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Unblown Blossoms

Awful deeds of casteists cut many dreams
from being realized in this carping world.
Many a bud of love feared to burst
as the hooligans take law unto their hands.
They wield swords to peel the limbs and heads
of goats, men and women, young and old in daylight.
The poor youths are proud to have weals and scars
on their chests, foreheads, hands and legs,
got for luring the wenches of affluent castes.
No law can scare the unlawful animals
as there are lawyers to stand by them.
The judges hesitate to enquire their cases
as their children are kidnapped to strike fear.
These marauding wolves steal the worth of girls
hailed in soft castes which toil hard in fields
for their livelihood, boil in their hearts till they live
and fire off emails to God through their souls
to punish the culprits by His fatal Laws.
