Unbreak My Heart Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Unbreak My Heart

Unbreak My Heart

Unbreak my heart

I once thought armoured in love

Unpenetrable to pain and loss

Protected from all cost

Unbreak my heart

I once thought guarded

from the likes of you

Sorcerer with serpants tongue

But I was to young

Unbreak my heart

I once thought sheilded

from words that spear

and pierce the very core

till the heart beats no more
