Unbroken Imperfections Poem by Jennifer Rose

Unbroken Imperfections

Rating: 5.0

Shimmering stars reflect on the lake
Fingertips brushing the smooth surface
Water sliding down in rivulets
Pale cheeks flushed with pleasure
Eyes closed to the sights around
Concentrating on the soft sounds
Moon high in the sky keeping watch
The two puzzle pieces fitting together
Is it only a dream?
Arms wrapping around each other
Sweet words being spoken
The perfect night
For two very imperfect pieces
