UnCanadian is being UnTrudeau"like" in character
-Gayathri B. Seetharam
I was punished very, very harshly by God for being a little bit unfaithful
To my beloved husband whom I cherish until death do us apart
But I ask God if love is until eternity,
Then sexual love is all-encompassing
If it covers a genuine need in oneself
But men view these things differently
As do women and God could be either or both
I like to believe in a male God for he alone
Despite my affinity for STEM,
Could have made the Higgs field
From which come hugs and embraces and kisses
And I could not resist taking a peek at the ending
Of Roxanne Rustard's book, A Man She Can Trust,
And the heroine as she steps into the hero's arms
Feels a warm breeze caress her skin
And a feeling of peace settles over the Victorian house
Like a gentle benediction
Amen to that, I say, and may our own Victorian home
With our 20 year old son be blessed;

I read in the latest issue of The New Yorker (Aug 5 and 12,2019)in an essay by Amy Davidson Sorkin
That both American and Un-American forces were at play in Robert Mueller's testimony
And I begged to differ with the Republican of Pennsylvania, Guy Reschenthaler,
Who said that it is un-American to include so much of negative information about a man
"Who happens to be the President of the USA"
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black
I ask of you to go back to Kenneth Starr's impeachment hearing of Pres. Bill Clinton
Who was under political trial for having engaged in sexual misconduct
And came under fire from most people, friends or foes, and from all Republicans in particular;

I agreed with Denny Heck, Democrat Representative of Washington,
Who said in not so many words that certain reprehensible conduct is acceptable
Of people in high positions and did not resort to name calling
And this is un-American
The western world typifies Christian and unchristian
As charitable and ungenerous spirited respectively
And Google Dictionary just informs me
That the sun typified the Greeks
And the moon the Persians
And this is an aside;

Google says that un-American means not in accordance with American values
Which brings me to the definition of un-Canadian
For if the sun typified the Greeks
The moon typified the Persians
Wiktionary defines un-Canadian as contrary to or inconsistent
With Canadian values and traditions or with Canada;

In the present mood or setting that the sun characterises in Canada
And the moon dictates in America
I say that un-Canadian is unTrudeau"like"
For he is the embodiment of the soul of Canada
And the heart of the Canadian spirit.
