Unchain Me Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Unchain Me

Unchain me

Most poems and poets
Talk of love as if sex
Few are about world
Its failures and success.

What is our duty?
Just word of beauty?
Or also right and wrong?
Resistance to mean wars?
Who defends innocents?
Who supports the honest?
Where are Pound and Shelly?
And Khayyam, and Rumi?
Shall we live like the dog?
For sledge and shepherd?
What about freedom?
Dignity of the man?
News talk of Russia
The bombs in Syria
Why do the brutal shed blood?
Why to kill woman, child?
What about the Afghans?
In Konduz; and Yemen
Following meanest man
Of Hijaz, that Arab?
Why is world turned to rock?
Who will if we don’t talk?

I know the Anbar Kooh
It is close to Konduz
I have been to Yemen
I have seen the dead man.
I am tired of them, all
My feelings speak out…

Tell me what is poem
Just crawl of a worm?

I love to, be like Pound
Set in cage, left to die.

The care of your dear heart rings out brother! Let it ring loud, long and clear. There are other bells ringing too. We can change the frequency. Become free and show freedom! blessings
