Uncle Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Uncle

Uncle

It may sound strange and a fake
But it is how it was
Elderly amused kids by telling stories:
"In a bowl, crystal
Had fallen few mice
Young and old, both genders…"
He had our ears and attention
Eager we for speed:
"…elderly used tricks and got out
Remained there a boy, girl …"

Already he crossed the border
Mixing up the sexes in those years
That meant a story by itself;
A romance, under moon with sex waves…
We listened mouths open, jaws fallen
Wanted to know of the prince, princess.

Hearts throbbed, we waited.

"They ran round and again
Many times repeated
Till came time for the boy
To offer and claim knowing way to save her…"
Uncle was able to manipulate.
Looked at us
We anxious with question:
"Was the girl rescued? What was way? "
"First her asked for kiss…"
"…then after? "
We asked and uncle said:
"First give kiss…"

This uncle is known for his trick.
He knew his wife and was in love before their marriage
But was shy to mention to parents
Matchmaking was normal and they had suggestions
They discussed and remained just three
Koran would mediate
But he wrote the same name three times.
Cheated and played game: "Let Koran choose the best! "
