Uncle Bam Bam. Poem by Alex Butler

Uncle Bam Bam.

Just today, I closed my eyes.
I heard your voice, I was surprised.
You told me you're happy, and doing okay.
Watching over us, from far away.
You told me you're holding your little girl.
And you said you're sad, she left this world.
I know you want us to smile away.
And go on as though, everything is okay.
But Uncle bam bam, We all miss you.
We also miss, Destiny too.
Life is short, it's a tragic thing.
Your precious smiles, Oh what A joy they can bring.
I know you're gone, and it's hard to say.
But when we need you, you're here right away.
Turning our frowns, Holding our hand.
It's almost as though, this was planned.
Instead of goodbye, we'll say farewell.
We'll see you again, As time will tell.
