Many live by a code
Of which I don't share
One that empowers the hungry
To feed off the weak
Guised to be a manual for surviving
A world that looks bleak
These souls I oppose
As they corrupt what is pure
So forgive me passions to
Fight for what I seek to secure
Far too often, have I seen innocence plagued
And hearts of the honest seized and betrayed
So my heart is sovereign and shan't be abused
For my love shines through foul tricks
Such as your unclever ruse
