Under A Starry Sky Poem by Carole Davis

Under A Starry Sky

I danced beneath a starry sky
Before a man who made me sigh
Embraced like I had never know before
Finished my dance, then he wanted more
We saw each other but tried to hide
The emotions that were stirring inside
No one will know unless you tell
Under a starry sky we wove a spell.

I danced beneath a starry sky
Whirled and twisted until I was high
Memories of when we wove our spell
Simpler times when we took our fill
Time has past and we have changed
Our lives since have been rearranged
But memories stay under a starry sky
When hearts were free and we learned to fly
