Under The Tree Poem by CHRISTOPHER MUDIENYI

Under The Tree

It is under this lovely tree,
That I feel so liberally free,
And my mind, my mind is free,
Free without any fee to decree,
That with every degree,
I will disagree to agree,
That it is a time to definitely retract,
Retract to the confines to ultimately reflect,
To definitively reflect and not deflect,
To ensure that I don't get late,
And maybe my balloon to deflate.
But with aggregate confidence to inflate,
My thoughts to definitively infiltrate,
And more knowledge to proliferate,
With exuberance to reverberate
My mind to spontaneously ameliorate,
Slay the dragon of doubt for it to deteriorate,
And with an aura of confidence resonate,
The good vibes to ultimately vibrate,
The pains of my sentiment to eradicate
The intruders of my inner peace to exterminate,
For this I vow to devotedly execute,
And my warring worries to unfailingly alleviate,
I pledge all my qualms to unswervingly assassinate,
And a new self to raise and rejuvenate,
Under this beautiful tree I retreat to invigorate.
