Undergo Fire Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Undergo Fire

Human life has no price tag
We certainly lag
In its evaluation
Why do we need regulations?

Why is it so cheap?
That we fail to keep in mind
And try to purchase the sympathy of bereaved family
Then try to compensate with money

Easy witness is found
And justice goes round
For years together
For the benefit of actor

If he is worth billions
Let him suffer as common man
To undergo agony and pain
And constantly remain aware

Fame and wealth has made him arrogant
What is he worth at present?
Industry may suffer few films
But what is alternative for the family of dead and children?

Let rich people recklessly drive
And survive
With open bribe offer
Do we want judiciary to undergo fire?

Undergo Fire
