POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
After decades of being ignored residential school survivors and indigenous people are finally being heard, as the bodies of hundreds of children, if not thousands are being found on former residential schools run by the catholic church with cooperation of the Canadian government. May the dead live again, and this time be heard
