Underneath The Blossom Tree Poem by Kevin Patrick

Underneath The Blossom Tree

Rating: 5.0

Underneath the blossom tree
velvet moonlight softly gleams
in crowns of fragrant majesty
through robes of raspberry beams
low nimble twigs, sew silhouettes
between the limbs of light
thick branches pirouette like minarets
or ballerinas of the night
but no one sees the tapestry
beneath the moons draped shade
for flowers fragile symmetry
or the petals masquerade
hide behind nights balconies
with gems of scented symphonies
