I saw you standing there
Across the way from me
I tried to catch your eye
Though I never thought you'd see

Then to my surprise
Your face was facing mine
I couldn't believe my eyes
I thought I'd lost my mind!


I didn't think I could ever be
Somebody that you could be seen with
Now as i gaze o'er into your eyes
I think i might fall in love


That week went by so fast
Like I never knew that it could
The moments came and passed
Those moments felt so good


I didn't think I could ever be
So happily in love as you've made me
Now as I look deep into your eyes
I feel myself falling in love


I look through the photos of how we were then
So happy, so young and wild and free
I sit here and gaze cold at your paper eyes
What happened top our 'undying' love
