Unexpected Mercy Poem by Smoky Hoss

Unexpected Mercy

In a coarse and crowded store,
obviously understaffed,
someone said, "please",
another, "thank you",
and one more chimed in,
"you are welcome".
I swear, everyone in sight
smiled, and the room
felt 3-times lighter.
