You wished me to forget
all that was
yes i tried
every touch
every memory
still burns.. hurts.. yearns..


I broke every promise
wish you had kept yours
i faltered
wish you had held me up

in my lowest moments
my searing pain
you left me broken

how could you stay away
knowing it would kill me?

how could your resolve be stronger than your love?
how could you watch me writhe in agony?

time has not lessened the pain
the tears have left deep valleys in my heart
all i am now
is unfeeling
