Unfolded Apprehension Poem by Asad Saeed

Unfolded Apprehension

A pleasant aura of your presence,
Your mute halo permits me some space,
The trouble with catching the sun,
Are the odds of our unlikely fate,
I fear in time things will not stay,
All that is made would go astray,
But hope binds us through what I say,
Someday it might just be our day,
Yet so improbable is what I seek,
That a compromise I dare to speak,
Hence if our fate repels away,
Stay nearby, but walk away.
