Unforgiving Poem by Jason R Tschetter

Unforgiving

<Broken down like sand and water
I look but do not see the feeling of this world
I once held my hand in check
Held it back from the worlds aspects
Now I fear that the world has turned
A bitter eye of deceit and loath towards its children
Holding there heads for one last breath
Watching the force of their essence disappear
Hoping and hating what has become
Loving and caring what was undone
The gods of our heads float down and among us
Take their avatars and held there places
Our souls are spoken for as days grow dark
That the winds of this place shall show no remorse
I have learned in times old and new
That what you expect
Is often untrue>
