Unhappily Ever After Poem by Carly Wilson

Unhappily Ever After

Rating: 4.0

We've both got so much going on right now,
Are we just adding to each others stress?
Are we getting this right or do we risk more heartache,
for the simple pleasures of sweet caress?

Every time I see you we're addicted more,
You cut me wide open, you see to my core,
Is an infatuation like this a healthy way?
Or should we be trying to love each other less?

Should I need your presence so I can breath?
I feel my panic rise up when you have to leave.
The feelings of fear so gripping, so vile,
Should love be so gut wrenching, should it taste like bile?

But I wouldn't want this any other way,
This is real this is raw it's the new way to play,
This wicked game they all call love,
Because I know we will win,
We will rise above.

Well expressed but I detect you knew the answer before you asked the question.
