Union And Labor Shame

For a long time,
poverty and employers, like glassmakers,
copped the blame for our over-polluted air.

Now we're told
that glassmakers were paying unions
to go easy on wage claims:
for their own survival,
and that of the power of the unions.

Now, to their shame,
unions and Labor
must also cop the blame for pollution:
by keeping employers afloat,
and by sticking to dirty-air
instead of clean-air poverty solution.
