Unknown Citizen, Your Bust Make I, Your Torso Sculpt I Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Unknown Citizen, Your Bust Make I, Your Torso Sculpt I

Unknown Citizen,
your bust
make I, unmake I
Your torso
in my poetry!

You are now not,
but your ideals are,
your principles and philosophy
of life.

I still derive, derive from,
Unknown Citizen,
I still, still
have many a thing to learn,
learn from.

You went away unsaid, untold,
a common man
you came and went away,
but your principles more powerful
than those of today
accepted and acknowledged.
