Unknown Island Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Unknown Island

I can't think of my self
I must find out treasure lying at sea shelf
That is only alternative to remove poverty
I shall double the effort and get ready

Let me find out another source
That should be binding force
Let it not make people materialistic
It must have some humanity basics

My heart beats for welfare
But it takes me no where
What can be easy option?
I thought of human relation

I thought of million all over world
"It is impossible task" I was told
It was making me little illusory
Then what was necessary?

Let people work with their own hands
Only develop the feelings of closeness as friends
This can bring them together
Love and tie the knot to each other

Let us sail on same boat
Try to swim over it and float
It may take us to Unknown Island
There our sufferings may surely end
