Unknown Places Poem by Edwina Reizer

Unknown Places

I wonder of the places
I'll never get to see?
Are they worth the seeing?
Would they set me free?

I'm tied to where my home is.
I'm used to what I know.
Are the skies there any bluer?
Would the loneliness let go?

Best for me to sit tight
and write of things unknown.
For the mystery of unseen places
cannot alter feeling alone.
