I miss her much, life goes on.
The feelings rumble and clang so familiar inside of me,
To when she was here (that I could see and hear and touch)
She is with me still,
Knowing this, feeling this is a comfort,
But I miss her much, life goes on.
I think maybe she was a butterfly or moth
Lightly touching upon life's creations here and there
Partaking as she pleased and moving on.
Or maybe a whirlwind spinning through town
Heaving the dust and sifting the sand,
Dropping me off (like some kid going to school) , then gone.
I am happy in a sad sort of way.
Happy for all that was/is and continues,
But sad for some things made different in time.
I would hardly pay her any mind if she were here today,
A luxury I no longer have.
I miss her much, life goes on.
Did she do by me well?
Yes so very well [I am blessed].
A mother can make you warm.
