Unpaint Me Poem by Gabi Ngubeni

Unpaint Me

Rating: 4.5

A half moon
Nestled on rays of clouds
Stars engulfed around peacefully
I find myself disoriented
Against nature placed perfectly.

I fight against my heart
As I am led to you
Confusion arousing mountains in my being
My head tells me no
It shouts by reason to stay away
My heart, though
Sways me to you

I try fleeing from my heart
Fearing strange feelings
That make me long for your caress
My knees fail me
And I stare in you soul waitingly

A full moon
Shinning so brightly
The night is clear
As my heart is clear
Telling me
Telling you
I Love You
