Unpretentious Arrogance Poem by Leanne Aldigme

Unpretentious Arrogance

Chin held up so high
Brows rose asking why
Walks proud and bold
Boast the power you hold

Eyes that criticize
Mouth sprouting lies
Wanted the throne
But not yet hone

Respect that you covet,
That you'll never get
For one is earned
And yours is scorned

Can you not see?
That your people agree
But do they admire
Things you try to aspire?

I say please please please
Change your piece
As long as you won't say hello
We'll never say I love you so
