Jealous Heart Poem by Leanne Aldigme

Jealous Heart

Rating: 5.0

Beg I did
For the love that you've hid
Tears I shed
For the words that you've said

The stars and the moon witnessed my woe,
The drops of rain hid my sorrow
The sky is dark
And the world concealed my mark

Your heart is like a stone
A diamond I cannot own
But your eyes shine when she's in sight
Killing me without a fight

You worship her path
You fear her wrath
Red is what I see
But she I will never be

Jealousy is like a snake
It strike and it shake
It is everyone's bane
Putting hearts in vain
