Physically mature, mentally young
Messing with others, getting drunk
Everything to lose, nothing to gain
Putting the young dear life into vain

Tears I shed

Chin held up so high
Brows rose asking why
Walks proud and bold
Boast the power you hold

You are my Zeus
I am your Hera.
I have loved you forever
But you loved another.

You said you love me
But no love I see
You said you'll never leave me
But you turned away and flee

Words that pierce like a heated knife,
Shouts that corrupts an innocent life.
In the shadows of the cold night,
Shivers in terror and fright.

It started as a beautiful bond,
But ended like a deserted land.
That once warm smiles that fills each others heart,
Turned into a sad and mournful piece of art.

To you this I say,
The things I kept at bay.
