Unrequited Poem by Matthew Bui

Unrequited

The lucky guy who walks along your side

The one who sees you cry

The one who wipe those tears away

The one who embrace your morning ray

With each smile you've broken my heart of stone

I've always hoped to be left alone

Yet, with each laugh you've made me feel like home

You, you've changed my heart of stone

From the first time I saw your face, my heart begin to race

I wish to change time and space, so I could feel your embrace

I pray upon the hand of grace, for this I wish be erase

I wish summer would take haste, so winter could replace

In the winter's wind, I have not shiver

Yet, a summer's chills makes me quiver

I wish autumn would complete its course

So spring could once again be endorse
