Dream Poem by Matthew Bui

Dream

He gaze upon the moon in search of love
But love he did not find and fallen to darkness above
And there she was, standing from afar
Gracefully and with beauty untouched by mar

Her hair blends the night and her eyes emits bright
Her skin envied by silk and her smiles were angel's ilk
Her songs gentle and serene as if the goddess Selene

And so they rejoice, but happiness soon bereft
Alone in the night; he gaze once more, reminisced and said

'Better a lie with you than the truth without.'
