The words unsaid
Are the hardest to hear
to understand,
between the silences
the mind takes over
filling in the blanks
wondering if the other cares
the past comes back
little reminders
relationships that failed
A love that could be great
taken down so quickly
everything goes away
differences between
building the walls
till the time
no one can be seen
A life once there
Eyes full of hope
and faith felt so deeply
Now darken, filled with sorrow
No hope
no dreams
Run away or stay
what can you do
to feel the warmth
of his arms once more
Tears flow
unable to contain
rediscovering the lost emotion
To fully love or trust another
is harder to do
to fully connect to another soul
its easier to hide away
Protective shell
no one can harm
keeping to yourself
holding emotion all inside
passions are burning
wanting to be released
craving just to be heard
try just one more time
open the gates
feel the strength
let your guard down
amazement of love
that could last forever
stop your crying inside
you don't have to be alone anymore
