Untidy Useless Usefulness Poem by Paul Brookes

Untidy Useless Usefulness

Rating: 3.0

I have a handy draw, an untidy draw,
a draw of 'things that might come in handy'
paper bags, string, sticky tape,
a broken screwdriver and assorted screws washers and nails.
yes and right at the back I found a picture of you

and me when we were young and never needed
a draw of 'things that might come in handy'
we never looked to tomorrow only to today.
