Until My Ship Sinks - Poem by Pete Rivera

I've been thinking of you
Of all the things you do
And I've been dreaming a dream
I've broken past the seam

I've been reaching out
And I have no doubt
About the way I feel
You know it is very real

So let the armor drop
And the arrow go through
Because I'm running past
Just to get to you
And I won't stop now
No I won't stop to think
I'd rather keep on going
Until my ship sinks

And you know me so well
But I don't know you at all
I've made so many jumps
Now just watch me fall
I caught onto the edge
Now come help me up
A can of Dr. Pepper
To come fill me up

And I've been thinking of you
I've been thinking of you
