Until Twelfth Night - Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Christmas tree, dear Christmas tree,
how you fill me with delight...
so lustrous and clear
each and every year
Please stay until twelfth night.

I dress you and I tend you,
for you make the season bright,
I love your glow
and the gifts below
Please stay until twelfth night.

Without you, oh without you
there would be no magic sight,
just an empty space,
no shining face...
So please stay until twelfth night.
