days pass us by
with nothing left but memories
full of wishes
left unsaid
secrets never told
smiles hidden

days of past
filled with pain and sorrow
yet full of smiles and laughs
concealing tears
both of joy and heartache
running through these thoughts

letting go
setting free
being me
having fun
enjoying each day
cause im making it through

leaving the past behind me
moving ahead
wont let these fears hold me back anymore
live each day as it comes
even if the tears fall
I'll still be me
