Untouchable Space Poem by Bill Bright

Untouchable Space

When there is a lack of movement, and fixity of your soul
You can envelop thoughts on your true ambitions and goals
A gluttonous fool bound by constant desires
With no recognition of fresh air or crackling fires
A continuous life led without ever turning on the switch
Is just as ungainly as being led blindfolded into a ditch
Your thoughts can be unimpeded, pure and filled with passion
Because although you may be clueless, loving need not be rationed
The space which is your own, exists within your mind
Not on cyberspace, where you may believe to be defined
The spiralling chasm maintained between two flickering lids
Is where there is truth, unlike immaculate manmade grids
