Untouched Poem by Dharmanand(Raj) Dauhoo

Untouched

The moonlight dews
On the silvered leaves
Mirrored the smile of a host of angels

The scent of jasmine
The entire air haunted
A prelude to a marvellous recall

In harmonious tones, crickets sang
Nectar from the blooms flowed
Quenching the thirst of an unquenchable night

Brightening the sky above
The fiery clouds
Fraught with haughty and flaming hues
An unreal setting in the making

Delighted of luminosity's absence
Fell the mantle of murkiness
Flashed before the eyes
Multitudes of imaging reveries
Exposed, the hidden secrets of glee

Triggered by mood
Fell the veil of sleep
Crept in, innumerable dreams
Fairy tales, abundant

Broken with the first rays of sun
A most promising morning announced
Emotionally fertile
The implacable law to be enforced
The other condition of karmic life.
