Unveiled Poem by Ames Sunshine

Unveiled

I thought I knew you
you said that he was your focus
you said that you'd always follow him.

Now I see the real you
Wanting worldly love and pleasures
not the things that are heavenly.

The only thing that is forever true,
is the number one in my life.
The one up above,
the one that truly is love.

He is always real and never fake.
Not like you, you little snake.

I've finally seen through your act.
My eyes have been opened.
You are so fake,
it makes my heart break.

I though I found someone real to be with me,
but it's obviously not you I now can see.

You thought you could hide forever.
Well you were wrong, I ripped your mask right off.
I unveiled your true self.

You better change the way you are
before the rest of the world unveils how fake you are.
Then where will you hide?
