Unwrap Rap Poem by Jessica Thomas

Unwrap Rap

Sex, guns and drugs that's all rap's about
Except for you, but they'll get to it no doubt
I'm dying to live that American dream
It's so overrated I just want to scream
I can't freestyle but I can rhyme
Yet my thoughts don't flow everytime
I admire how you get the emotion out
You get what you want in every route
Shady you're just so crazy
I know the image is hazy
Your music motivates
Defend honor, never hesitates
Wicked words flowing off of the tongue
Filth that makes people duck and run
Yet I can't seem to turn my ears
So deep almost driven to tears
I'm isolated to the point of insanity
I crave the self-esteem of vanity
And hold the power to guide a nation
Against a revolution of degradation
Only you can play those words
And gain the best of both worlds.

Lol there's many true rap artists out there. Search Immortal Technique, Unknown Prophets and Sun Rise Above.
