Up Mine Poem by soren Barrett

Up Mine

When paddling up shit creek is your vacation scenic wonder
When it is uphill, coming and going, face in wind and rain
When the tail you grabbed turns into a tiger blunder
When in a tunnel, the light ahead is an oncoming train

Recognize you're the butt of life's joke
The locomotive in that tunnel called your ass
sounds its whistle but is only blowing smoke
Join the crowd and with sass, laugh with balls of brass
