Up There, Down Here. Poem by Richard Jarboe

Up There, Down Here.

Up there is the same as down here,
The same rules must apply,
The cause and effect are monitored,
As oblivion passes by.

No matter how deep down you go,
Above you is a celestial show,
And the math one can learn in a hole,
Is the same math as the higher soul.

There's an elegant system to planets and suns,
Their position and orbits ruled by laws,
Down here we can see the effect,
Up there we can see the cause.
