Uplifting Moments Poem by J.B. LeBuert

Uplifting Moments

Uplifting moments come every day.
Pay attention and feel them coming your way.
No need to sacrifice the moment of pleasure.
Give in and let yourself go, and enjoy the treasure.

The birth of a child
The love of another
Running crazy and wild
A touch from your mother

Getting your father's praise
Doing a great job and getting a raise
Dancing with your love
Getting guidance from above

Hearing a voice from the past
Finding you've got what it takes to last
Winning a hard fought race
Jumping out front and setting the pace

Seeing your friends succeed
Receiving a pet
Watching flood waters recede
Those are some of the best you can get.

There are many uplifting moments in life,
Like receiving love every day, from your wonderful wife.
You are blessed with thousands and thousands of days;
So cherish the moments and bask in the Lord's rays.

Wonderful indeed, great philosophy. We don't value such moments enough methinks.
