Upon My Shoulders Poem by Sakib Choudhury

Upon My Shoulders

Rating: 5.0

The weight of responsibility
Lies heavily upon my shoulders
Trying to collapse my world
By bringing it crashing down
Which will never be allowed

Carry this burden will I
That was thrusted upon me
As some form of perverse punishment
To some unknown sin commited

For I have become like the titan Atlas
Forced to bear the skies on his shoulders
For as long as eternity may last

Sometimes we''ve got to bear the burden that is not of our own making...Good message there Chakra.
