needs didn't get watered for the day
desires will not grow in height nor weight
heart want what it wants, it isn't fair
and all it wants is for someone to care

but that's what makes the world go down
when all you find is gloom around
feel the highs, feel the lows
the paralyzed can not grow
Hurt turns the world upside down

walls get tougher just to break on through
that's what happens when it envelopes you
some live against it but there's quite a few
who live the reality they wish weren't true
