Vacation Poem by Boghos Artinian

Vacation

Townsfolk seem static
as we fast cruise
by sunbathed towns
in foreign lands.
From the cool Pullman
they seem forever stuck
in the dust of distant towns
while I, not without some remorse
and with some compassion
ruthlessly forge ahead.
