Vaishno Devo Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Vaishno Devo

Have you seen Mother,
Go and see
And then to me,
How is Mother,
Vaishno Devi?

Have a darshan of Hers
For once
And say you it,
How is Mother,
The Mother of the hills,
The Goddess of lions?

When the hills were impregnable,
How did,
How did the sadhakas and priests,
How did the devotees?
Many would have dared not go for
A darshan of Paharonwalli, Sherawalli.

How the lions and tigers would growled
And roared
And how would they have
Into the caves
Housing Sherawalli,
The selected people in the past,
The hills men, hamlet men?

Leave you the talks of today,
Now the things have been made easier,
But the past were not so,
The ways were treacherous and risky
And impregnable
Leading to the hilltop range!

Mother has called,
Mother has called you,
Go and see,
See Her,
How does She,
She look like?
