Value Of A Tortured Soul Poem by Tia Attwood

Value Of A Tortured Soul

How money buys our tortured soul,
The devils path is paved in gold.
In times of strife we lose control
How money buys our tortured soul.
Diminished values wrapped in toll
Awaiting to be freed not sold.
How money buys our tortured soul,
The devils path is paved in gold.

This is so marvelous Tia. It is so touching. Money can by food, clothes and cars. That is good, but some use it to buy ugly things.

A very nice and pithy triolet that has a lot of truth in it and is enjoyable to read too.

A wise and thoughtful poem. Thank you for sharing. It is the pursuit of money that is the root of all (or most) evil.
